So I just finished my first year of university and now summer has begun! WOO HOO!
However… that means i’ll be leaving the laptop for most of the time… No tumblr for the next little while ‘cause i’ll be working 8:30-5 and traveling a bit.
I’ll be back at it by September when I start school again.

And while these powerful voices are being silenced, those that remain continue to take on a villainous tone as they are met with more and more impassive ears.
There seems to be no more light, and no more heroes.
If we as listeners become less reflective and don’t provide feedback to what we hear, we create an environment where sound can’t live on. A deadened space, an anechoic chamber that keeps us isolated as we spiral deeper in to silence.

I’m finishing my first year… At McGill, undergrads level 0 (me) have the first year to take whatever courses in their faculty (mine is Arts) that they want to. There are small requirements here and there… Like, for example, we need 6 credits in either maths or sciences to complete the freshman program. For next year, we must have declared our majors/minors before the Fall semester. I’m double majoring in International Development Studies and African Studies and minoring in Psych.
Went to see Knxwledge on Thursday. I was real lucky that he happened to be doing a show in Montreal. ;D Anywho, he was AMAZING (not that I was expecting anything less). The only sort of disappointing thing was the lack of people that had attended… However, I guess that worked in my favour since I could be real intimate with the speakers and the little stage thing. Ahaha, defs one of my favourite shows of all time. I also couldn’t believe that cover like 5 bucks… It was destiny for a university student to see Knxwledge.
Now i’ve got microecon and science of stormy shits to deal with for Tuesday… ugh. Exams from 2pm-9pm. So nice. NAAAAAAAHT.
Good news is that i’ll be moving out of rez on Wednesday and heading back to home base in Toronto on Thursday.
Meeeh, sorry for the lack of tapes. No time.
